Jason Hudspeth, the Republican incumbent serving District 3 on the Henry County Commission, today officially announced his re-election campaign.

Hudspeth, first elected in 2022, has served Henry County, focusing on county road improvements, enhancing emergency fire and rescue services, and promoting local economic growth.

“I am honored to serve the people of District 3 on the Henry County Commission, and I’m running for re-election to continue working for our families, businesses, and communities,” Hudspeth said. “Over the past term, we’ve made progress on delivering essential services while keeping taxes low, and I look forward to continuing that work for all our residents.”

During his current term, Commissioner Hudspeth has been engaged in efforts to improve area roads, support public safety initiatives, and promote policies that enhance the quality of life across Henry County. Hudspeth helped expand emergency services for his District, resulting in faster emergency response times for residents in need.  He has also worked tirelessly to improve the country road system, delivering miles of road improvements in his area.

“As a life-long resident, I believe in Henry County’s future and in the people who make this place home,” Hudspeth said. “I look forward to continuing to serve the residents of District 3.”

The primary election is set for May 19, 2026.
